Cookie policy

Last updated August 2026. Non-essential cookies stay switched off until you allow them, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — do comparable jobs and are covered by this policy as well.

How consent works here

When you first arrive, a banner appears and nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is set. Measurement and advertising stay disabled until you choose. Your answer is stored in a cookie on your device for 180 days, and refusing is exactly as easy as accepting — both are one click, on the same screen.

For Google services this site uses Consent Mode: before any choice is made, ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and analytics storage are all set to denied, and they are raised only if you allow the corresponding category.

These are the cookies the tags set once a category is allowed. If you have not allowed a category, none of its cookies are present on your device. Names and lifetimes are set by Google and can change; the current values are always visible in your browser's storage inspector.

Changing your choice

Open — the same control sits in the footer of every page. Switch a category off and save, and the corresponding consent signal is withdrawn immediately.

Cookies already stored by third parties are not removed by withdrawing consent; clear them in your browser's privacy settings if you want them gone.
